Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Singapore.
You must have a minimum of a 2:2 Honours degree from a recognised university in Singapore to be considered for admission.
For applicants from NUS and NTU, our minimum requirements are an Honours degree Second Class Lower Division, Honours (Merit) or CAP of 3.5/5.0 or above.
For applicants from other institutions, our minimum requirements are an Honours degree Second Class Upper Division, or a four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum B grade average or GPA 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0.
PhD and research programmes
Typical requirements for entry to research programmes include a minimum of a 2:1 Honours degree in a related subject area or a Master's degree from a recognised university in Singapore:
- Master of Science by Research (MSc by Research)
- Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
A research proposal is usually required upon submitting your application.
