Polish School of Medicine Memorial Fund Scholarships
The scholarship enables medical scientists at the outset of their careers to undertake a period of further study or research at the University’s Medical School and return to Poland.
Background
The Polish School of Medicine Memorial Fund was set up in 1986 by former members of staff, graduates, alumni and friends of the School. Their intention was that income from the Fund would be used by The University to support a scholarship programme and also the Antoni Jurasz lectureship.
The Fund seeks to:
- Further develope academic links between the University and Polish medical universities and research institutes
- Enrich Polish medicine using new found knowledge and skills, thereby contributing positively to the welfare of the Polish nation
