Here are a numer of additional sources of financial support which available across the disciplines.

Anglo-Danish Society Scholarships

For the academic year 2015/16 the Society is inviting applications from students undertaking post-graduate courses.

British Federation of Women Graduates

The British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) has limited funds to make awards to women undertaking their final year of postgraduate research.

Carnegie Cameron Taught Postgraduate Bursaries

Up to twelve awards are offered to University of Edinburgh students undertaking either a one year, full-time or two year, part-time taught postgraduate degree in any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh commencing in the 2015-2016 academic session.

Carnegie/Caledonian PhD Scholarships

The Carnegie Trust offers a number of scholarships each year to academically outstanding candidates who are intending to study on a PhD programme at any University in Scotland. These include scholarships supported by the Caledonian Research Foundation.

The Edgar Pye Research Scholarship

The Edgar Pye Research Scholarship supports the undertaking of original agricultural research.

Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loans (PTFL)

Eligible Scotland domiciled students and EU students undertaking full and part-time postgraduate study can apply for repayable student support towards the cost of their tuition fees for study on one of the courses listed below. (£3,400 for full-time study and £1,700 for part-time study)

The University of Edinburgh Postgraduate Bursary 2015

A number of University of Edinburgh Postgraduate Bursaries will be offered to postgraduate students who are in receipt of a "Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loan" (PTFL) during the 2015-2016 academic session.
