Anglo-Danish Society Scholarships

For the academic year 2016- 2017 the Society is inviting applications from students undertaking post-graduate courses.

British Federation of Women Graduates

The British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) has limited funds to make awards to women undertaking their final year of postgraduate research.

Carnegie/Caledonian PhD Scholarships

The Carnegie Trust offers a number of scholarships each year to academically outstanding candidates who are intending to study on a PhD programme at any University in Scotland. These include scholarships supported by the Caledonian Research Foundation.

Carnegie Cameron Taught Postgraduate Bursaries

Up to twelve awards are offered to University of Edinburgh students undertaking either a one year, full-time or two year, part-time taught postgraduate degree in any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh commencing in the 2016-2017 academic session.

Perfect Storms: Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships

The University of Edinburgh invites applications from exceptional candidates for a fully funded doctoral research project that addresses a ‘Perfect Storm’.

Postgraduate Loans (PGL) (England)

The UK government has recently announced that a new postgraduate loan scheme will be introduced for UK Nationals (and those with settled status in the UK) who have most recently been resident in England.

Postgraduate Loans (SAAS) (Scotland and EU)

Loans for tuition fees and living costs are available from SAAS for eligible Scotland domiciled and EU students.

The British Spanish Society Scholarships

The British Spanish Society's aim (formerly the Anglo-Spanish Society) is: ‘to promote friendship and understanding among the peoples of the United Kingdom and Spain through knowledge of each other’s customs, institutions, history and way of life’.

The Edgar Pye Research Scholarship

The Edgar Pye Research Scholarship supports the undertaking of original agricultural research.
