Manage your digital footprint

Our current activity online can impact our future; so it’s important to be savvy, stay safe and be able to make the most of the opportunities available. Our Digital Footprint campaign is designed to help you do just that.

Digital footprint

What is a digital footprint?

It's the data you leave behind when you go online. It's what you've said, what others have said about you, where you've been, images you're tagged in, personal information, social media profiles and much more.

How do I manage my digital footprint?

Various activities, workshops, resources and advice are on offer throughout 2014-2015 that will focus on how to create and manage a positive digital footprint, and to help assist you with:

  • creating a positive online presence (brand you)
  • employment opportunities and professional networking
  • collaborating with others
  • keeping safe online
  • managing your privacy and the privacy of others
