Background
Dr. Milly Lo (Dr. Tsz-Yan Milly Lo) joins the Edinburgh Critical Care Research Group in 2013. Having completed paediatric intensive care training in Edinburgh, Birmingham, and Melbourne (Australia), Dr. Lo returns to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC) in Edinburgh as a consultant paediatric intensivist and research lead for paediatric critical care medicine. In addition, Dr. Lo is an honorary clinical senior lecturer at Child Life and Health of the University of Edinburgh.
Research
Dr. Lo’s special interests include neuro-intensive care, paediatric resuscitation, and patient safety. Dr. Lo has completed a PhD degree and post-doctoral research training in childhood brain trauma in Edinburgh (UK) and Toronto (Canada) respectively. As an NRS Career Research Fellow, Dr. Lo is currently setting up a paediatric critical care research programme in Edinburgh.
