PhD Student - Classics


Claudia is a third-year PhD student in Classics at the University of Edinburgh, working on the family of the Dioscuri - the mythological twins, sons of Zeus - and in particular on the Leucippides, their wives. Her approach encompasses literary sources, iconography, and religion studies. She graduated from the Università di Torino, Italy, both at her Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. She is mainly interested in Greek literature, myths and cults, and their interactions with a wider Indo-European and Mediterranean system.
