Chris' understanding of online learning systems stems form her time working in the NHS. She first worked as a Learning Technologist at Edinburgh College before moving to The University of Edinburgh where she had an initial position within the School of Health before commencing her current role as the eLearning Co-ordinator for the Clinical Trials programme with the Usher Institute.
Chris has extensive experience in online and distance learning and a deep understanding of pedagogical issues. She has a particular interest in user experience and instructional design. Her academic studies and work experience span the communications, marketing, graphic design and technology sectors. Chris has an MSc in Digital Multimedia and is currently undertaking a second MSc in Education. She is a Fellow with the Higher Education Academy and a certified member of the Association of Learning Technology.
