Athena SWAN Silver Awards for Edinburgh Clinical Medical School and Dick Vet

We are delighted to report that the Athena SWAN Silver Award application led by CGEM’s Professor Cathy Abbott and Professor Karen Chapman for the Edinburgh Clinical Medical School has been successful: May 2016

Following on from the Athena SWAN Bronze accreditation in 2013, both the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and the joint application from the Deaneries of Clinical Sciences and Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences have been awarded Athena SWAN Silver status. These three-year awards are in recognition of excellence in promoting gender equality and addressing particular challenges for women within science.
