We welcome news of an agreement between the UK government and the EU that will see a renewed association with the Horizon Europe research programme. This is extremely welcome news not just for British universities but for the UK’s many European and international research and innovation partners.  Access to Horizon Europe also means we can continue to attract the best and brightest minds, work with business and industry across Europe and worldwide, and bridge skills gaps in research and development. Being part of Horizon Europe will boost our collective efforts to tackle the greatest challenges of our time and we stand ready to take full advantage of the opportunities this will bring.
