New fully-funded PhD studentship
A PhD studentship, with stipend, in Enlightenment Identities has been announced at the University of Edinburgh.
The British Society for Eighteenth Century Studies (BSECS), the School of History, Classics and Archaeology (HCA) and Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) are delighted to announce a PhD studentship with stipend, tenable for 3 years. Applicants may apply for the PhD in History or PhD in History of Art, and applications with cross-disciplinary research proposals are welcome. Proposals which address histories of race, ethnicity, and sexuality during the long eighteenth century are of particular interest.
Dr Adam Budd, Lecturer in Cultural History, said, "This PhD studentship in Enlightenment Identities is not only an exciting opportunity for the candidate, but it is also a tremendously promising collaboration between our two Schools and the British Society for Eighteenth Century Studies. We hope that our future engagement projects will yield opportunities to support the next generation of early-career scholars."
