An Archaeology Teaching Fellow has been elected to the Fellowship of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.

An Archaeology Teaching Fellow has been elected to the Fellowship of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.

Teaching Fellow Dr Lisa Shillito was elected to the Fellowship at the anniversary meeting on the 1 December 2014.

The Society is the oldest antiquarian society in Scotland with a long and distinguished history. It plays an important role in promoting and supporting the cultural heritage of Scotland, providing a forum for research, education and consultation on matters of heritage and the Scottish past.

Dr Shillito joins other staff in Archaeology who are Fellows of the Society, including Dr Kath McSweeny, Dr Catriona Pickard, Professor Ian Ralston, Dr Gordon Thomas and Dr Tanja Romankiewicz.
