Sleep In The Park

Staff and students from all over The University of Edinburgh took part in the Sleep In the Park event on Saturday 9th December.

Josh Littlejohn,  graduate of The University of Edinburgh and co-founder of Social Bite, has come up with a 5 year plan to eradicate homelessness in Scotland and one of his fundraising ideas was to bring together 9000 people in Princes Street Garden for the world's largest ever Sleep-Out.  Staff and students from all over the university got involved and  jointly raised over £50,000 in order to sponsor one of the proposed houses at the new Social Bite Village in Granton.

Here are some photos to show how we all got on!
