Sleep In The Park - Get Involved

Staff and students from all over The University of Edinburgh are taking part in the Sleep In the Park event on Saturday 9th December. The aim of it is to raise money to assist Social Bite's plan to eradicate homelessness.

Josh Littlejohn,  graduate of The University of Edinburgh and co-founder of Social Bite, has come up with a 5 year plan to eradicate homelessness in Scotland and one of his fundraising ideas is to bring together 9000 people in Princes Street Garden for the world's largest ever Sleep-Out.  Staff and students from all over the university are getting involved and  jointly aiming to raise £50,000 in order to sponsor one of the proposed houses at the new Social Bite Village in Granton.

The Festivals Office are happy to be involved in this project and would like as many of you out there to help the university and us achieve this fundraising goal.
