Enterprise API Foundation

The project will set up a service to enable the production and service management support for deployment of APIs across the University.

Background

Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) enable IT systems to access data or functions provided by other systems.

This project will provide the framework to enable provision of the APIs as a service across the University. It also supported the deployment of the Events Booking API which is now available to developers within the University. The learnings from the Events Booking API deployment are being used to guide the approach to other Enterprise APIs projects within the programme.
