Your time at the University
I chose the University of Edinburgh because I had visited the city before and absolutely loved it. I had always planned to complete a graduate degree somewhere in the British system and chose Scotland because of the city and I have always been charmed by Scottish culture.
The many discussions we had about our courses in pubs throughout Edinburgh are some of my favourite experiences and I still maintain the friendships I made while at the University.
My ability to teach can be attributed solely to my time spent at the University of Edinburgh and the qualifications I earned whilst there.
Tell us about your Experiences since leaving the University
When I first returned to the United States I immediately began working on regional political campaigns. Simultaneously, I also began to teach at my undergraduate university, CBU (California Baptist University) in Riverside, CA in the Department of History and Government.
After marrying my wife, I switched from politics to the private sector and started working at an emerging growth company the start-up corporation Innovation Economy Corporation (ieCrowd). I continue to teach at CBU as an Adjunct Professor, but I have now moved from traditional courses to the Online and Professional Studies Department of History and Government where I continue to teach U.S. History and Politics courses. My ability to teach can be attributed solely to my time spent at the University of Edinburgh and the qualifications I earned whilst there.
