EOS 5D Mk I

The EOS 5D Mk I camera, formerly installed on the ECO-Dimona, is available as a backup to the more capable Mk II, and has the potential to fly on larger UAS. It is also available for hand-held oblique photography from other platforms.

Our EOS 5D Mk I was originally used as our survey camera on the ECO-Dimona until 2011. It is now employed as a backup to the Mk II version and is available for handheld photography from alternative aircraft platforms.

Lenses are interchangeable with the Mk II. Typically a EF 85 mm f/1.2L II USM Lens is useful for handheld acquisitions.
