The Highland Society

The Highland Society is one of the oldest student societies at the University of Edinburgh - over 180 years old. The society promotes Gaelic at the University and in the city.

Find out more about the Highland Society (An Comann Ceilteach) on their website. Amongst other activities, the Society organises the Highland Annual each year - Edinburgh's longest-runnin cèilidh. Attendance of the cèilidh and membership of the Highland Society is open to all.
