All students of every nationality are required to prove their English language competence.
Even native-speakers of English must demonstrate that they meet our minimum language requirements to gain entry to the University.
We accept all of the English language qualifications listed below for entry to the University, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test centre.
Applicants who require an IELTS test as part of an application for degree-level studies may take this test at any IELTS centre.
Only applicants who are interested in the following programmes need to ensure that they have an IELTS test from a UKVI approved test centre:

Your English language certificate must be no more than two years old at the beginning of your degree programme.
We also accept recent previous degree-level study that has been taught and assessed in English in a majority English speaking country for entry (as defined by UK Visas & Immigration.)
Original certificates are required, unless your qualification is in IELTS.
