International Student Centre
The International Student Centre (ISC) is a place for all students.
Whether you are returning or new, home or international, undergraduate or postgraduate, at the ISC you can meet and interact with people from all over the world.
What is the ISC?
The ISC is the student-run arm of the International Office, dealing with the social aspects of the international community in Edinburgh.
Run completely by volunteers, the ISC aims to make every student’s time in the University of Edinburgh be an unforgettable one.
What does the ISC do?
Volunteers at the ISC run a lounge serving free tea and coffee on weekdays for all students.
Opening hours
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 12-4pm, Tuesday: 12-6pm, Friday: 12-3pm.
Throughout the year, the ISC also organises:
- weekly themed events representing different countries (eg: Japanese Night, Mexican Night)
- weekly subsidized trips around Scotland and England
- movie nights and pub nights
- campus-wide events such as International Desserts Night and International Evening
