Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Sri Lanka.
Students from Sri Lanka are admitted to the University of Edinburgh with a range of qualifications.
Applicants with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-Levels can be considered for admission to Undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Edinburgh.
Sri Lankan ‘A’ levels are also considered.
Applicants with qualifications other than those listed above will usually be required to complete a Foundation Year before entering the University.
Each course may have further specific entry requirements. All applicants must meet these requirements. Staff in the Admissions Offices will be able to provide further guidance.
If your first language is not English, you will also have to meet English Language requirements to apply. These requirements are listed by programme.
The International Office representative for Sri Lanka is Harish Lokhun.
