Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Pakistan.
Students from Pakistan are admitted to the University of Edinburgh with a range of qualifications: GCE A Levels, the International Baccalaureate (IB) and other recognised regional systems.
For all undergraduate degree programmes offered by the College of Science and Engineering, applicants with 75% or more in the HSC/ Intermediate (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical streams only), will be considered for entry to year 1 of an undergraduate degree. Applicants must meet any specific-subject requirements.
Applicants with good grades with a Bachelor of Commerce (Pass or Honours) or Bachelor of Arts will be considered for entry to year 1 of degrees within the College of Humanities and Social Science.
Students wishing to study medicine, veterinary medicine will not be considered on the basis of a BA or BComm.
If your first language is not English, you will also have to meet English Language requirements to apply. These requirements are listed by programme. O Level English at a minimum of grade C will be accepted, provided the applicant has continued to A Level study.
