2020 and 2021 Graduates

The University remains committed to offering our graduates from 2020 and 2021, who were unable to attend a graduation ceremony due to Covid-19 restrictions, the opportunity to celebrate their achievement in the magnificent McEwan Hall.
July 2022 graduation ceremonies
All 2020 graduates were invited to attend a summer graduation ceremony in July 2022, alongside 2022 graduates, and we were pleased to be able to welcome all graduates who wished to attend. If you were unable to attend a ceremony in July 2022 you will be eligible to attend a future ceremony in March 2023.
March 2023 graduation ceremonies
We delighted to offer you the opportunity to return to Edinburgh to celebrate with your family, friends and members of the University community in the magnificent McEwan Hall in March 2023.
These graduation ceremonies are dedicated solely to graduates from 2020 and 2021, to recognise and applaud your success in what was a uniquely difficult time. We hope that you will be able to join us.
All 2020 and 2021 graduates have been emailed with further details and those who wished to attend have been allocated a place. Please confirm your attendance by completing the questionnaire which was sent on 11th October. The deadline to confirm your attendance is 10 February 2023. If you have not yet attended a graduation event, and you didn't receive an Invite to March graduations please email infopoint@ed.ac.uk.
Please provide your email address for graduation updates
Please ensure we have an up to date email address for you. Graduation emails are generated from you your student record on Euclid, rather than through your alumni account. It is important that your email address is updated on Euclid so that the emails are not delivered to an outdated address. Future ceremonies
How and when events will take place in the future is dependent on a number of factors, especially Scottish Government guidance.
What format that celebration can take is something we are working on and are committed to delivering. We are considering all options and will make sure we find some way to keep your connection to Edinburgh vivid and alive, something we hope you will do across all of your life.
