Reuse Hoose - free event

Staff and students are invited to the Reuse Hoose, a free event to help people reuse and repair their possessions rather than throw them away.

The University works with many partners to ensure that as little waste as possible goes to landfill and that materials from paper to office equipment are recycled or reused.

Reuse Hoose, organised by staff from Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and Waste and Recycling, is a chance to learn more about reusing and recycling and about some of the partners the University works with.

Reuse Hoose

Tuesday 15 March 10am-2pm

Potterrow Dome, Bristo Place, Edinburgh EH8 9AL

Reuse Hoose is a chance to learn how to:

  • Fix belongings (for example a bike, phone or computer)
  • Get hold of freebies (for example food, furniture or clothes)
  • Save money - and the planet

The event will also highlight the work of the University’s voluntary Waste and Recycling Coordinators who work across the University to encourage resource efficiency and waste minimisation.
