Updated Review Forms To Welcome New Students
A new SharePoint is being created to produce, record and analyse student responses to start-of-year reviews
To support the transition to university, the Making Transitions Personal (MTP) Pre-Arrival and Start-of-Year Reviews ask incoming students several key questions.
Sent to students before the start of the academic year, these survey-style reviews help students prepare and also enable the University to better respond to student needs by exploring the actions and support available to help address the motivations, aspirations, and expectations of individual students.
An improved process for this year is being produced using Sharepoint, which will be more personalised with the student name and number already populated in the form.
This new questionnaire layout and the pre-population of student data will assist the smooth induction of students into the University, with fewer errors in the data needing corrections required by staff.
