We are delighted to announce that Edinburgh University Library is now a member of the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), under the Supporting Services and Infrastructure (Non-Commercial) class.

The news comes after tireless efforts to improve transparency, discoverability, and publishing best practice across the 20 journals we currently host through our open access journal hosting service.

We are so pleased to be a part of this diverse community of libraries, publishers and organisations engaged in open research and scholarship. Membership benefits include experience sharing and networking opportunities, support in developing industry standards, and being part of a collective voice that supports and advances open access publishing. We look forward to seeing our hosting service continue to grow and thrive with this membership.

Most recently, we welcomed the Edinburgh Journal of Botany, previously published by Cambridge University Press, to our platform. The journal is now published by the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh under a diamond open access model and hosted by us under our Scottish Confederation of University & Research Libraries (SCURL) shared service. We are thrilled that this prestigious and highly-used journal will now be freely accessible for all, under a Creative Commons license. In fact, Volume 78 has just begun publishing (under a rolling publication model) and there are eight new articles for you to check out!

For any queries about the open-access journal hosting service, please contact the Open Access Publishing Officer, Rebecca Wojturska, at rebecca.wojturska@ed.ac.uk.
