Marshall Scholarships are available to finance young US citizens of high ability to study in the UK. The scholarships are tenable for two academic years (22 months), a limited number of scholarships are available for one academic year. Scholarships cover tuition fees, a living allowance, some study expenses and fares to and from the US. Up to 40 scholarships are awarded annually.
Applicants must be US citizens who, by the time that they take up their scholarship must hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the US with a minimum GPA of 3.7. To qualify for awards tenable from October 2014, candidates must have graduated from their undergraduate college or university after April 2013.
Applications are made in one of eight regions in the US. The deadline 1 October.
The Application process for the 2016 Marshall Scholarship is now closed. The 2017 Application will be available in late spring 2016.
