Alderman Frederick Smith Travelling Scholarships

A number of travelling scholarships are also available to male and female undergraduates receiving support via Student Finance England and whose normal residence is in the city of Liverpool.

A scholarship will be granted towards the cost of travel abroad during vacations with a view to extending knowledge of the cultural, industrial and commercial life of the country visited, to complement formal studies.

Applicants will be required to live abroad for more than four weeks and to state in their application the details of the proposed travel

Holt Education Trust

A small number of scholarships are available for female undergraduates receiving support via Student Finance England and whose normal residence is in the city of Liverpool.

Applying

Applicants will be required to state the specific circumstances that they wish the Trustee to consider and include details of any extra expenditure in connection to their particular course of study eg. equipment, books or other items which the applicant would find of significant benefit to their studies.

Students whose normal home address is outside of the Liverpool City boundary (ie within Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral etc) are not eligible to apply.
