Accommodation in the main house
Our residential activity package includes accommodation in the main house, which is a traditional Norwegian-style lodge. During your stay, you and your group will be able to experience a strong sense of community, which is one of Firbush's core values. The house has a warm, charming and communal atmosphere that will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Rooms: Mixed dorms room with either 2 to 4 berth bunkrooms. Total capacity is 32
Facilities: Large dining room which offers panoramic views across Loch Tay, female bathroom with 3 toilets and 3 showers, male bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers, a gender-neutral toilet and shower, drying room and a common room with bar.
Access: Wheelchair access and accessible facilities as required
The team have not stopped talking about how much they enjoyed their team building trip to Firbush. It was really well organised and slickly executed by an engaging and fun-loving team who also clearly knew their stuff. And of course, what a location! Such was the enjoyment and value to the department I've already asked the team to set up the same again for next year.
Meals
Our residential package offers full board, which includes all meals. Meals will be served in our dining room by the loch, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Loch Tay, Ben Laws and Tarmachan Mountains.
Activities
We will work with you to create a bespoke programme to meet all your group's needs. You can mix a blend of work and learning/training with outdoor activities and relaxation.

When can you stay
Our residential bookings are available from Monday midday until Wednesday morning, from Wednesday midday until Friday morning, and from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.

For over 50 years, we have been hosting University groups and have continued to impress visitors with our unique and authentic offerings. Your group can indulge in academic work or training while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities. We warmly welcome reading parties, field trips, clubs, and societies.
As well as groups from the University of Edinburgh, we also cater to groups from other universities, corporate organisations, and social groups. Our location is perfect for groups looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax, unwind, and enjoy nature at its best. Your group can enjoy a perfect blend of warm hospitality and fun outdoor activities.
