To celebrate the colocation of three world-leading research centres, IRR launched its new logo in November 2023.
The IRR logo reflects our place within the University of Edinburgh but recognises our scale, excellence and the opportunities offered by bringing together world-leading research Centres.
The new logo was designed by Edinburgh-based 442 Design, who have worked on developing the interior design of IRR South.
The IRR pictogram is a representation of two Rs made up of four different coloured shapes which signify the coming together of the different and diverse elements that make up the Institute. The colours used are the main colours used in the interior design of IRR South, which was completed in 2023.
Staff and students in the Institute can access the logo and templates on the staff pages. Other requests to use the logo can be emailed to the IRR Comms team.
