Background
I am from a dairy and sheep farming background, having grown up on a farm in Cumbria. I moved to Edinburgh in 1996 to attend university and joined the Dairy Herd Health and Productivity Service (DHHPS) in 2001. I am responsible for the computing and laboratory aspects of the DHHPS work and also participate in the research output of the department.
