Water Hazards & Risk includes researchers with expertise relevant to issues of flooding, water scarcity, and pollution of surface and groundwaters.

Water Hazards & Risk includes current and future projects in assessing, mapping and modelling flood risk; water shortages arising from glacier melting; and assessing the extent of surface and groundwater pollution. Researchers are active in the UK and internationally and work with local communities to use research results to raise awareness of and lower risks associated with flooding, and water resource quantity and quality.
