National Pay Award 2012/13

Staff covered by Joint Negotiating Committee for Higher Education Staff (JNCHES) pay bargaining will receive a one per cent pay increase in their December pay.

The Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) has informed its member higher education institutions that the 2012/13 pay negotiations have now been concluded.

Revised pay scales

The one per cent uplift is to be applied to all pay points on the national pay spine. Revised pay scales can be found on the HR web pages.

Affected staff will also receive backdated pay to August 2012.

Exemptions

This pay award is not applicable to employees on clinical pay scales or those on pay scales that are not covered by national higher education pay agreements.
