Festive Jumper Day – 7 December, 1pm, Old College Quad and Nucleus
Join us for hot chocolate, a festive photo, and a chance to make new friends. Don’t forget to wear your best festive winter attire. If you don’t have a festive jumper, you can wear any festive decorations, colours, or your country’s traditional celebration wear.
Christmas Carol Service - 10 December, 6pm
The University's Carol Service will take place at McEwan Hall. Doors will open at 5:15pm and attendees are advised to arrive early due to the event’s popularity.
The Service will be led by the University Chaplaincy, which provides pastoral and spiritual support for students and staff of all faiths and none.
Carols and music will be provided by the Edinburgh University Singers, the Edinburgh University Renaissance Singers and the Salvation Army Edinburgh City Corps Band.
Festive December Meal - 11-13 December
The Festive December Meal is back! This event aims to support students who are staying in Edinburgh over the winter holidays. This year’s Festive Meal will take place at South Hall, Pollock Halls on 11, 12, and 13 December. Come for food, quizzes, and to meet staff and students from all over the University.
Book your place by Thursday 30 November. The Festive Meal is funded by the University of Edinburgh. You'll only pay a £5 deposit to secure your place. This money will be donated to a student-chosen charity.
Look out for updates on these events and other festive celebrations on campus in the coming weeks.
