The University awards Principal’s Medals annually and they are one of the most important ways in which the University recognises our students and staff. It’s important we take the time to award current and recently graduated students, as well as staff members, who have delivered exceptional service, served the University and wider community and demonstrated strong alignment to the University’s values.

When is the deadline?
Nominations must be submitted by email to Nicola.Helliwell@ed.ac.uk by 5pm on Friday 25 August 2023.
The Principal will choose the winners and normally they are awarded their medal during winter graduations.
