International Women’s Day 2023

Staff and students can get involved in free events taking place across the University this month to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

International Women’s Day takes place on Wednesday 8 March with the theme of innovation and technology for gender equality. Women's History Month runs throughout March.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, the Information Services Group has named a lecture theatre in honour of British geologist Charlotte Murchison (1788 – 1869).

Sport and Exercise are hosting a walk to show support for women all over the world. Join them to #MarchOnInMarch and improve your wellbeing. All students and staff are welcome.
