Update for students in University accommodation

Next week (week beginning 19 October), students in University accommodation will receive a £50 voucher to use in a range of outlets.

The e-voucher will be sent to all students currently staying in University accommodation via an email from third-party provider EdenRed.

Students are asked to check their inbox – and junk folders – next week to ensure that they have received their redeemable code.

The vouchers will be redeemable at a variety of outlets, including Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Just Eat.

Student support

The vouchers are being provided in recognition that many students’ start in University accommodation was not as they – nor the University – would have hoped for.

The University has since continually looked to improve its support for students, as well as offering this voucher.

Students should be aware that only those staying in University of Edinburgh accommodation are eligible to use the voucher.

Self-isolation support

This is a challenging time for all students, but especially for those who are self-isolating.

The University is delivering three meals a day and has a package of support on offer. The pages below outline the range of wellbeing support that is in place to help those who are self-isolating.
