Shuttle bus service between Central Area and King’s Buildings
A free shuttle bus service will operate between the Central Area and King’s Buildings during the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
The shuttle bus service will assist students and staff to meet their academic timetable.
The service will operate from Monday to Friday during semester time only:
- Monday 12 September - Friday 23 December 2022
- Monday 16 January - Friday 7 April 2023
- Monday 21 April - Friday 26 May 2023
A valid University student or staff card must be shown to the driver when boarding and access will be denied if this cannot be provided.
Pick up and drop off points are at the Central Area and King's Buildings only.
As the shuttle bus service is very busy at certain points during the day it is not possible to guarantee that the service will be able to pick up all waiting passengers. Staff may board the service ahead of students by showing their staff card. Students who are required to make essential study related journeys between the Central Area and King's Buildings within a tight deadline can apply for a priority permit.

Please remember that the shuttle bus service should only be used for getting between the two locations during the day for academic purposes. For commuting to and from home, staff and students should walk, cycle or use public bus services.
