ILW funding call
Staff are invited to apply for funding in support of Innovative Learning Week (ILW) 2015 events.
ILW2015 will run from 16 February to 20 February.
Guidelines and an application form for staff to propose events and bid for event funding, are now available and must be returned by 17 November 2014.

New approaches
ILW2015 will be the University’s fourth annual festival of creative learning. It will provide staff with an opportunity to explore different and creative teaching methods and new approaches to learning with students.
Staff are invited to propose events under themes relating to ILW’s core objectives:
- Interdisciplinary – including staff from at least two different schools.
- Event led by students and staff – including both staff and student organisers.
- Open to all – staff and students from across the University can attend.
- Curriculum innovation.
- Public engagement and outreach.
- Student engagement.
Under the Interdisciplinary theme, or for an Event led by students and staff, funding of up to £2,000 per event is available. For all other events, the maximum funding is £1,500.
Students and student societies may also apply to run ILW events, but PhD students, employed by the University, are asked to apply using the staff process.
