Annual carol service
Staff are invited to attend the University's annual carol service on Sunday 7 December in McEwan Hall.
All members of the University community, including family and friends are welcome to attend.
Music and song
The Edinburgh University Singers, Edinburgh University Renaissance Singers, the Salvation Army Edinburgh City Corps Band and University organist John Kitchen will all perform at this year's service.
The evening's music will include the world premiere of a piece in the style of Byrd, by music student James Ritzema.
The service will also feature popular carols and readings from the Christmas story, read by students and staff from a variety of traditions. A reception will be held afterwards at the Chaplaincy.
