Translation & Commercialisation Board
The College Translation & Commercialisation Board (TCB) brings together researchers, innovators and enablers to drive and maximise the College's translational and commercial portfolio.
Remit
The Board was created to increase and have oversight of translation and commercialisation activity within the College. We aim to do this by:
- creating initiatives/work streams to remove barriers to translation and commercialisation work
- instilling a healthy enterprise culture
- removing silos by having a wide membership base and oversight of T&C activity
- diversifying funding pots
- promoting specific areas of excellence
- increasing contract service provision to commercial clients
- and much more
Each Institute in the College is represented as well as representatives from the Colleges of Science and Engineering and Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Edinburgh Innovations; Edinburgh Research Office; translational research fund managers; DDI; HTAF; NHS; CMVM facilities and the College Research Office.
