Edinburgh Arab Festival
This vibrant two-day cultural festival provides visitors with a unique opportunity to gain an insight into Arab culture through a wide array of open and scheduled events.
Our goal is to introduce the rich cultural, literary and historical heritage of the Arab world to the public through a variety of events including exhibitions, live entertainment, and food tasting.
During the two day festival, the programme included over 30 individual events and provided visitors with a unique opportunity to gain an insight into Arab culture through a wide array of live and scheduled workshops, speeches and seminars in poetry, storytelling, fashion, film screenings, photography, calligraphy, art exhibitions, language taster classes, music, live entertainment, food tasting and more.
During the EdArabFest 2015, we had a huge media interest and coverage from Al-Jazeera Live, Al-Jazeera Arabic, BBC Arabic, BBC World Service, DW, and many other news outlets.
