Infection Medicine Teaching Award Nominations

Dr Ewan MacLeod, Dr Kim Picozzi and Dr Richard Sloan were shortlisted for excellence in teaching and student support at the EUSA Teaching Awards

Many congratulations to colleagues at Infection Medicine who have been nominated for their outstanding contributions to teaching in the EUSA annual Student Awards. Twenty-nine staff members at the University made it to the shortlist based on over 2,800 Teaching Award nominations that EUSA received in 2021

Dr Ewan MacLeod, Dr Kim Picozzi and Dr Richard Sloan were nominated in the following categories on the EUSA “roll of Honour”:

  • Personal Tutor of the year category - Dr Ewan MacLeod, Dr Mariela Scortti
  • Teacher of the year category - Dr Kim Picozzi
  • Outstanding Course category - Dr Richard Sloan, Dr Jenna Fyfe
