What activities will you be undertaking as Book Collections Intern?

As a Book Collections Intern I will be cataloguing the books in the Student Research Room (SRR) and creating reading lists for the first year undergraduate courses.

What attracted you to apply for the internship?

The opportunity to get experience in a real workplace in the field I want to go into after graduation.

How do you think this experience will benefit your studies and future career?

The internship is good experience for my CV ; it has also made me much more familiar with the working practices of the collections.

What are you most looking forward to?

Working with Margaret and Louise (Student Intern) and getting the collections in order; I use the SRR all the time and it will be really satisfying to make sure they are all in order before the start of semester.
