Undergraduate student surveys launch
The 2015 undergraduate student surveys have launched. Every year the University collects students’ views using surveys to help shape the ways things are done, now and in the future. (Published 23 January 2015)

There are two surveys available, depending on year of study.
Edinburgh Student Experience Survey
Edinburgh Student Experience Survey (ESES) seeks the views of non-final year undergraduates on a range of areas relating to student experience at the University.
The survey is open now until 1 March 2015 and takes about ten minutes to complete.

Why complete the survey?
The results of the student surveys provide the School, and the University, with an insight into the issues that matter to students.
Feedback provided by students in previous years has created a legacy of improvements for current undergraduates, including:
- better facilities for undergraduates, including the new student common room and improved IT
- the creation of our Undergraduate Awards for Academic Excellence
- more staff dedicated to enhancing the student experience.
More examples of how student feedback can make a difference can be found on the College of Humanities and Social Science website.

Postgraduate student surveys
The views of all students, undergraduate and postgraduate, are equally important to the School and University.
The University Student Surveys webpage gives details about other surveys running this year for postgraduate students.
Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for taught masters students
Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) - for research students
The On the Same Page webpage provides an on-going opportunity for students to share their views.
