This year’s Irish history film series, Secret Histories; Screening Irish History, was launched last Thursday, 8th January, at a reception in the Consulate General of Ireland , hosted by Mr Pat Bourne, Consul General. The series explores dark and unsettling aspects of Irish history in four compelling films. Each of the films will be followed by a Q&A with filmmakers, critics and experts. Building on the great success of last year’s series, the School of History, Classics and Archaeology is proud to be working with our partners at the Filmhouse again on this exciting project.
