How to apply

Calls for tutors are sent by email to current research postgraduates periodically through the year and over the summer.

Applications are now closed for the tutoring opportunities for Academic Year 2023-2024.

What happens after I submit my application?

After the call-out's closing date all applications will be reviewed. You may be contacted by one of the Course Organisers to meet with them to discuss your application before finale decision is reached. Please respond to this request as soon as you can.

If your application is successful, you will receive a formal offer letter of employment outlining the details such as the number of hours and hourly rate of pay. We ask that you respond to the offer letter within 5 working days. If we do not hear from you by the deadline, we may need to withdraw the offer and look to offer another applicant in your place.

As we cannot anticipate final class sizes or applicant withdrawals, it is difficult to give a final deadline by which all offers will have been finalised. If you have not received an offer from us by end of August 2023, your application is likely to have been unsuccessful.

For any unsuccessful applications, we would encourage you to re-apply when applications re-open.
