Course on safely using a powered hood

This course is aimed at all staff or students who currently wear or will be required to wear a powered hood (for example 3M jupiter or versaflo). 

Course outline

The course covers the requirement for risk assessment and other control measures before going into more detail about looking after your mask including videos produced by 3M and Sundstrom.

It is recommended that this course is completed annually as a refresher following a hands on training session initially.
