Ukrainian Women’s Leadership Programme
Ukrainian women living in Scotland are being invited to apply to join a new scheme that aims to build leadership skills and boost the recovery of the war-torn country.
Course set to inspire and empower Ukrainian women
The Ukrainian Women’s Leadership Programme, which takes place in Edinburgh in June, will offer 15 fully-funded places to equip women in conflict resolution, communications and management.
The four-day residential event will be led by experts drawing upon successes from Northern Ireland and the Balkans, and lessons from violence reduction schemes in Scotland.
Applications are welcome from Ukrainian women currently living in Scotland. The programme will be of particular interest to women with a professional background and ideally leadership responsibilities; experience of studying or working in an English-speaking context; and the ability to fully immerse in a residential programme in Edinburgh.
The programme will take place over four days from Monday 17 June–Thursday 20 June 2024, 09:00–18:00.

The programme will explore topics including leadership, communications, strategy and change in contested contexts.
This programme is free for participants.
Programme costs, catering and accommodation will be included for successful participants. A travel fund is also available to reimburse the costs of travelling to and from Edinburgh.

Shortlisted applicants will have an opportunity to discuss the programme with a member of the team and any support required to enable their attendance.
