Gail is an agroecologist researching the impacts of farming practice on the ecosystem services of pest control and pollination. Particular interests include: the effects of agricultural practice on pests and natural enemies, insect pollination ecology and cereal aphid ecology. The impact of climate change, particularly drought and the need to develop resilient systems in a changing environment is also a focus. The aim is to promote ecologically based management strategies to increase the sustainability of agricultural production.
