Filling in the TAS return
The survey asks you to record how your total time worked over the four month period is split between Teaching, Research, Other and Support activities.
Please specify this time as a percentage of your total work time over the survey period, to the nearest whole percentage.
Each of the four main categories of activity (Teaching, Research, Other and Support) are subdivided further into different types.

Travel time should be recorded under the activity that required the travel.
Time spent on all institutional activities should be recorded - irrespective of whether it is on or off campus.
Returns should exclude:
- time spent on private consultancy in your own time.
- holidays due and actually taken, or other leave of absence.
