Focus on Replacement
We hope you can join us for this exciting event which is free to attend and will be held at the Queens Medical Research Institute on the 16th April. This full day event will focus on the replacement of animals in research and will include excellent speakers from the field and also poster presentations for which prizes will be awarded. We really hope to see as many of you on the day for this great opportunity to interact with colleagues and hear more about replacing animals in research. Agenda will follow shortly.

William Russell and Rex Burch developed the concept of the 3Rs during the 1950s, and described them in their book The Principles of Humane Experimental Technique, published in 1959.
